He’s using Wikileaks to avoid serious rape allegations (hence the plain packaging analogy – taken from the cigarette packaging issue). Extradition to Sweden has nothing to do with freedom of speech as he claims. If there’s to be any offense taken it’s with the two women in Sweden who will not have their allegations see light of day thanks to the Wikileaks beat-up.

I don’t get it. Are you conflating two extremely important social issues: rape and freedom of speech? That needs further explanation. Or are you saying Assange is using wikileaks to justify rape? Or are you defending governments who afraid of freedom of speech? Or is this an easy laugh using rape as the focal point? The cartoon is fundamentally offensive and fails as a piece of communication.
